Battle of Banska Bystrica - Midwest Follow

October 1944. In Slovakia, the Slovak National Uprising started in August 1944 as an armed struggle between German Wehrmacht Forces and Rebel Slovak Troops. It was centered around a key city in Slovakia located on the Hron River. Reinforcement troops from the 3rd Panzer Grenadiers have been sent to Banska' Bystrica. The Soviet 198th Rifle Division has been sent to ensure the success of the Rebel Slovak Troops.
